My name is Brent Hyden, I am 22 years old and I reside in Oceanside
California as a passionate skateboarder/ skateboard filmmaker. On May
16th 2014 I premiered my first full length film at Transworld which was
the Asylum Skateshop Video "Green Eggs and Hammers" all filmed with a
VX1000. Below is an article written by transworld the day after the
premiere.

After
releasing this video I knew I wanted to get started on another video,
and my friends and I wanted to call this one "SKATE JUICE" which we have
been filming since the Asylum video came out. Check the Instagram
account @Skatejuice out to see some recent work and to see some of my
short edits directing people to the full links on YouTube.
As I am
taking my time on my current film Skate Juice all filmed with a vx1000 /
mk1 lens, I still want to be making short films to show people I am
still producing videos. To do this I make all of the Product Checkout
videos on the Asylum Skateshop YouTube channel, so I went ahead and
bought a full HD setup using Panasonic HVX and a Canon 7D with a rokinon
lens for fisheye shots. My most recent one is the Bronson Bearing
checkout one featuring shop rider Max Mclaughlin : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne6qmS79emY and I also just recently put together a quick edit with animation for Orion Trucks team Rider Caleb Smith featured here: https://www.hellaclips.com/video/nice-one-bruva-featuring-caleb-smith/
I have completed a Post Video Production Special Effects class focusing
in on After Effects as I want to expand my knowledge within
filmmaking, and I am completely fluent with Premiere Pro/ Final Cut Pro.
I am also expanding my knowledge within media arts and technology as I
have completed an adobe illustrator class, and an adobe in design class
to practice graphic design. In 2015 I filmed Ace Pelka's video part
which he then turned pro after for Assault Skateboards:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ1htieyfF8 and was a contributing filmmaker in Dave Bachinsky's "Welcome to Darkstar Part": http://www.thrashermagazine.com/articles/videos/dave-bachinskys-wel...
